Digital download of the Praise the Lord Cottage Herstmonceux.
This was in Gardner Street opposite the Brewers Arms and was believed to be a protest against the pub. Image is from around 1890 and is taken from an original glass negative of that time and shows a lot of detail.
All images are scanned to keep as much of the original detail as possible and are cleaned and enhanced digitally. Maximum print sizes are not recommended leaving it up to you to decide if the overall image is important or the clarity of the detail. Please be aware that vintage images have a variety of source material in which the quality varies. I always copy to a high definition to capture as much of the original as possible but damage and degradation over the years will mean that images will show signs of aging and will not have the same definition as a modern digital pictures.
Please look at images closely before downloading as there are no refunds on digital images.
